In recent years, the reintroduction of wolves into Colorado has sparked a great deal of controversy and debate. Many residents, including ranchers, farmers, sportsmen, hunters, and hunting guides, have found themselves adversely affected by this decision. From livestock loss to impacts on local wildlife populations, the presence of wolves has had significant repercussions on various facets of life in Colorado. If you find yourself in agreement with those who wish to end wolf reintroduction in Colorado, you are not alone. SmartWolfPolicyCO.com is a platform dedicated to supporting a campaign aimed at doing just that. This initiative seeks to educate the public on the implications of the current law, recruit volunteers and advocates who share the same concerns, collect donations to further the cause, and gather signatures to get the initiative on the 2026 General Election ballot. By visiting the website, you can learn more about the effects of the wolf reintroduction law on Colorado's landscape and wildlife. You can also find ways to get involved, whether through volunteering your time, making a donation, or signing up to help circulate petitions. This is your opportunity to join the fight and make a difference in the future of Colorado's wildlife management policies. Let's work together to ensure that the voices of those impacted by the wolf reintroduction are heard. Join us in advocating for a change that will benefit the residents, wildlife, and ecosystems of Colorado. Together, we can make a difference.

It is now up to all the rural Colorado residents who did not vote in the past election that allowed this policy to pass in the first place to become active and get involved in the process to repeal of this detrimental voter initiative to mandate wolf reintroduction into their back yard rather than the back yard of those in Denver and a few front range communities. Get involved!!

So thrilled to work towards repealing this liberal law that was virtue signaled by Denver and resort towns who do not live in rural CO.

Thank you for the offer to help. We are at the beginning of the ballot title setting process. We expect to have petitions to circulate this spring. We will need to collect 200,000 signatures in 2025 to qualify the repeal initiative for the November 2026 ballot.
